There are 10 companies in the KKS structure, of which five were acquired in 2017: Ust-Kamenogorsk and Sogrinskaya TPPs from Arnika Beteiligungen GmbH, Shygys Energy LLP from East Kazakhstan Regional Energy Company JSC, as well as Dutch Heat&Power Holding B.V. and 45.86% in MREK.

In 2018, the company's net profit increased by 32.1%, including due to an increase in revenue from the sale of electric energy associated with an increase in its stake in JSC MREK.
