As for fertilizer producers, the largest enterprises in Kazakhstan are the KazAzot and Kazphosphate plants. By the end of 2019, 378 thousand tons of nitrogen fertilizers were produced in Kazakhstan, and the production of phosphorous fertilizers amounted to 393.4 thousand tons.
In the ranking of fertilizer suppliers in 2019, the KazAzot plant took the first place — its products were used on an area of 409,267.91 hectares.
Kazphosphate is in the second position — 214 thousand 302.15 hectares.
