Given the increased demand and the prospects for growth in prices for non-ferrous and precious metals, as well as the depletion of the proven resource base at the existing fields, the holding seeks to develop projects with the potential for high investment returns, including projects for confirming reserves, expanding existing assets and new projects for the construction of production facilities.
Aisko-Karaaulskaya area (225 sq. Km) is located 40 km from Ayagoz. According to the analysis of the United States Geological Survey (USGS, 2014), the area belongs to forecast area 3a, where 2 large porphyry deposits with total Cu reserves of up to 11 million tons are expected to be discovered. On gravimetric and magnetic surveys established and the Objectives (Eastern anomaly), favorable to the discovery of porphyry-type deposits, have been determined, the predicted Resources will amount to about 0.9-2.5 million tons of Cu.
Strategic plan: Investments in exploration to confirm Cu resources according to JORC, construction of a GMZ.
